Candidates can download the CUET PG Admit Card 2026 as per the instructions provided below. Here are some quick steps to help candidates download the CUET PG 2026 Hall Ticket:

1. Visit the official website, exams.ntaonline.in/CUET-PG
2. Click on the tab indicating CUET PG 2026 admit card download under the Candidate Activity Section on the homepage.
3. Enter the CUET PG 2026 application number and date of birth or password along with the Security Pin
4. Click on Submit

Why CUET PG registrations have dropped in 2026 compared to 2025?

• There are several reasons that could be attributed to the drop in CUET PG exam registrations:

  1. NTA has dropped the test centres: Earlier, there were 312 locations, which have come down to 292 test cities this year. The international locations have also been reduced from 27 to 16 in the current year. 
  2. Several Students also reported technical glitches during the application process, which did not motivate them to apply for the exam.

When was the first CUET PG entrance exam was held?

• CUET PG was earlier known as CUCET, which was first held in 2010 by 8 central universities. From 2021, NTA took charge of this exam. In 2022, the University Grants Commission (UGC) officially renamed the entrance exam and made it mandatory for admission to the Master's courses for the central universities.
