CUET PG 2026 Exam Advisory Released: NTA Issues Important Guidelines for Candidates Appearing
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official exam advisory and detailed instructions for candidates appearing in the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. The CUET PG 2026 examination is being conducted from March 6 to March 27, 2026, across multiple examination centres in India. CUET PG 2026 Exam Schedule

Strict Monitoring and Anti-Cheating Measures
The NTA has warned candidates against engaging in any unfair practices during the examination.
To maintain transparency and fairness, all examination centres will be monitored through live CCTV surveillance and equipped with signal jammers.
Candidates found indulging in any unfair activities such as passing chits, cheating, or using prohibited devices will face strict action, including disqualification and debarment from future NTA examinations.
Documents Required at the Examination Centre
Candidates must carry the following essential documents when reporting to the exam centre:

• Two passport-size photographs
• Valid government-issued photo identification proof
Accepted identity proofs include:
• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card
• Voter ID Card

Photocopies or digital images of ID proofs stored on mobile phones will not be accepted for identity verification.
Special Instructions for PwD and PwBD Candidates
Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category must carry valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
The NTA has also provided several facilities for eligible candidates, including:
• Scribe or reader assistance if required
• Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination
• Early reporting for smooth entry procedures
However, candidates must have selected the scribe facility while filling out the application form to avail this benefit.
Items Prohibited Inside Examination Centres
Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying personal belongings or electronic devices inside the examination centre.
Prohibited items include:
• Mobile phones
• Smart watches
• Electronic gadgets
• Calculators
• Bags and other personal items
The examination authorities will not provide any facility for keeping personal belongings, and candidates are advised to avoid bringing such items to the exam centre.
Biometric Attendance and Verification Process
Candidates will have to complete biometric verification and attendance procedures at the exam centre.
During the verification process, candidates will be required to:
• Sign the attendance sheet
• Paste a passport-size photograph
• Provide a left-hand thumb impression
Candidates must ensure that the thumb impression is clear and properly placed.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Mode
The CUET PG examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
Candidates should check that the subject and language of the question paper displayed on the computer screen match the options selected during the application process.
In case of any discrepancy, candidates must immediately inform the exam invigilator present in the examination hall.
Special Relaxation for Diabetic Candidates
The NTA has allowed certain relaxations for candidates suffering from diabetes.
These candidates are permitted to carry:
• Sugar tablets
• Fruits such as bananas, apples, and oranges
• Transparent water bottles
However, packed food items such as chocolates, sandwiches, and candies are not allowed inside the examination hall.
