NCET 2026 Registration Begins for 4-Year ITEP Programme Apply Online Till March 10
The National Testing Agency NTA has officially started the registration process for the National Common Entrance Test NCET 2026 for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme ITEP for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official portal within the prescribed timeline.
NCET 2026 serves as a national-level entrance examination for admission into teacher education programmes offered by selected Central and State Universities, including premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, Regional Institutes of Education RIEs, and Government Colleges recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE.

What is NCET and ITEP Programme
The National Common Entrance Test NCET is conducted for admission into the Integrated Teacher Education Programme ITEP, a four-year dual-major degree designed to prepare professional teachers with strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.

Correction Facility Available
NTA will provide a one-time correction window from March 12 to March 14 2026. During this period, candidates can edit permissible fields in their application form. No further correction opportunities will be provided afterward.
Examination City and Admit Card
The city intimation slip and admit card will be released later on the official website. Candidates must regularly check the portal for updates regarding examination city, admit card download, and instructions.
