CUET UG 2026 Registration Deadline and Application Fee Details

The application process is available on the official portal. Candidates can access it at cuet.nta.nic.in. The agency reopened the window for fresh registrations. Applicants must complete forms before the deadline tonight. The portal will not accept submissions after 11.50 pm.

The application fee varies by category and subject. General category candidates pay ₹1000 for upto 3 subjects. They pay ₹400 for each additional subject. OBC NCL and EWS candidates pay ₹900 for 3 subjects. They pay ₹375 for each extra subject chosen. SC, ST, PwD, PwBD and third-gender candidates pay ₹800. They pay ₹350 for each additional subject.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Dates and Marking Scheme

The CUET UG 2026 examination will begin on May 11, 2026. The examination will continue until May 31, 2026. The test will cover 37 subjects in total. Candidates may choose a maximum of 5 subjects. This includes languages and the General Aptitude Test. Subject choices need not match Class XII subjects.

Each paper will contain 50 compulsory questions. Every correct answer will carry 5 marks. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The negative marking rule will apply to all papers. Candidates can check further updates on the official portal.
