CUET PG 2026 Exam Schedule Released Check Subject Wise Dates and Exam Details
The National Testing Agency has officially announced the subject wise examination schedule for CUET PG 2026 for the academic session 2026 to 27. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode across multiple days in March 2026. Candidates who have registered for the postgraduate entrance test can now review the detailed timeline and begin final preparation as per their subject schedule.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Dates
As per the official notice the CUET PG 2026 examination will be held on the following dates:
06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 16 17 18 19 24 25 and 27 March 2026
The examination will be conducted in two to three shifts per day with each shift having a duration of 90 minutes. In total the exam will be organised across 44 shifts.
Number of Subjects and Candidates
CUET PG 2026 will be conducted for:
- 157 subjects
- Around 4,11,366 registered candidates
- Candidates were allowed to choose up to four test papers or subjects
This structure continues the multi subject flexibility introduced in previous CUET PG cycles allowing aspirants to apply for interdisciplinary postgraduate programmes.
Registration and Correction Timeline
The registration process for CUET PG 2026 was conducted earlier between:
- 14 December 2025 to 25 January 2026
A correction window was provided for candidates to edit their application details from:
- 28 January to 30 January 2026
Medium of Examination
The CUET PG 2026 question paper will generally be bilingual in English and Hindi. However certain subjects will follow specific language rules:
- 41 language papers will be conducted in their respective languages
- MTech and Higher Science papers will be conducted in English only
- Acharya papers will be conducted in Sanskrit except Indian Knowledge System and Baudha Darshana which will be trilingual Hindi Sanskrit English
- Hindu Studies paper will be available in Hindi and English
City Intimation Slip Before Exam
NTA will release the City Intimation Slip approximately ten days before the examination date. This slip will inform candidates about the city of examination so they can plan travel arrangements in advance.
