CUET PG 2026 Registration Extended Again: NTA Allows Applications Till January 23
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate Programmes (CUET PG) 2026, providing fresh relief to aspirants. As per the latest update, candidates can now submit their CUET PG 2026 application forms up to January 23, 2026, while the last date for fee payment is January 25, 2026.

CUET PG 2026: Correction Window Dates
According to the revised schedule, the application form correction window will open on January 28, 2026, and candidates will be allowed to make corrections till January 30, 2026 (11:50 PM). This facility will help applicants rectify mistakes in personal or academic details submitted during registration.
Initially, the last date to apply for CUET PG 2026 was January 14, which was later extended to January 20 and has now been further pushed to January 23.
CUET PG 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for CUET PG 2026 varies by category:
- General category: Rs 700
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates: Rs 600
- Applicants applying for two papers: Double the applicable fee
- Candidates from outside India: Rs 3,500 for one subject paper
NTA has clarified that only those applications with successful fee payment will be treated as complete.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Cities and Pattern
The agency has also reduced the number of exam cities for CUET PG 2026. This year, the exam will be conducted in 292 cities, including 276 cities in India and 16 cities abroad, compared to 312 cities last year.
The CUET PG 2026 examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The paper will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 300 marks. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

- Log in using the generated application ID and password
