UGC NET December 2025 Law Exam Date Announced; Check Shift, Timing & Schedule
NTA Confirms Law Subject Examination on 31 December 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the subject-wise schedule for the UGC NET December 2025 examination, and as per the public notice dated 17 December 2025, the Law subject examination will be held on 31 December 2025.
The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across centres nationwide.

Candidates appearing for the Law (Subject Code – 058) should take note of the official schedule listed in Annexure-I.

- Exam Date: 31 December 2025
- Shift: Shift-I (Morning Session)
- Exam Timing: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The exam will be held in the first shift of the examination schedule.
Exam Mode and Duration
- The exam will be held in CBT mode
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Multiple choice format
Candidates must report well before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.
City Intimation and Admit Card Updates
As per the NTA notification:
- The City Intimation Slip will be released 10 days before the exam
- The Admit Card will be issued separately before the exam date
- Candidates must download both from the official website
