NTA Announces Shift-Wise Timetable for Major Language Subjects Including Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu and More
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the exam dates for different subjects under the UGC NET December 2025 examination, which will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 31 December 2025 to 07 January 2026.
Several language subjects are scheduled across different days and shifts, as per the notified timetable released on 17 December 2025.

Total Shifts and Pattern of Examination

City Intimation and Admit Card Release
NTA will release:
- City Intimation Slip – 10 days before the examination
- Admit Card – later on the official NTA portal

Instructions for Language Subject Candidates
- Reach the examination centre early
- Carry a printed copy of Admit Card and valid photo ID
- Verify subject code and timing before exam day
- Follow all instructions inside the hall
The official schedule confirms that UGC NET language subjects such as Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, Arabic and others will be conducted between 31 December 2025 and 07 January 2026, across morning and afternoon shifts.
