The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued important updates regarding the UGC NET December 2025 examination, confirming that admit cards for candidates appearing on December 31, 2025 and January 2, 2026 have now been released. Candidates scheduled for these two exam dates can download their hall tickets from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in using their login credentials.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination is being conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects across multiple centres nationwide. The exam cycle will continue till January 7, 2026, and admit cards for the remaining dates will be released in a phased manner.

How to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025
Candidates scheduled to appear on December 31 or January 2 can download their admit card by following these steps:

- Log in using Application Number and Date of Birth
- Download the admit card and the undertaking
- Take a clear printout for exam-day use
The admit card is available only in online mode. No hall tickets will be sent by post or email.
Important Instructions for Exam-Day Entry
Candidates must note that entry to the examination centre will be permitted only if they carry:
- Printed UGC NET Admit Card
- One original valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence
Candidates appearing without the admit card or valid ID proof will not be allowed to appear for the examination under any circumstances.
City Intimation Slip Reminder
The UGC NET December 2025 advance city intimation slip has already been issued for all candidates. It helps aspirants plan their travel by informing them of their allotted exam city in advance. However, candidates must remember:
- The city slip is not a substitute for the admit card
- It cannot be used for entry into the exam hall
Only the UGC NET Admit Card is valid on the examination day.
