🧾 Why NTA Has Opened the CUET PG 2026 Correction Window

As per the Information Bulletin and earlier public notices, NTA has decided to provide candidates a chance to correct mistakes made during the application process. Since CUET PG scores are used for admission to Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed Universities, Private Universities, and Autonomous Colleges, accurate details are crucial.

  • Signature (Image Upload)

Candidates are advised to not attempt corrections in these fields, as the system will not permit changes.

✅ Fields That CAN Be Corrected During the Window

🔹 Personal Details (Only One Allowed)

Candidates may change any one of the following:

  • Candidate Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name

🔹 Examination City Selection 🏙️

  • Candidates can modify their examination city preferences
  • City allocation will be based on permanent and present address
  • NTA has clarified that it is not bound to allot the city chosen by the candidate

🔹 Other Editable Fields

Candidates are allowed to correct the following details:

  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Sub-Category / PwBD
  • Test Paper Code

🔹 Aadhaar / Identity Details

  • Candidates who registered using an identity other than Aadhaar can now update their Aadhaar details

📚 Subject, Test Paper & Programme Changes

  • Editing of Subject / Test / Programme / Course will remain available till the correction period ends
  • If changes impact the application fee, additional payment will be required
