UGC NET December 2025: Important Dates, Exam Pattern, and Subject-Wise Schedule Released 📢📝

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET December 2025 session from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Ahead of the national-level examination, NTA has released two major updates:

• the City Intimation Slip, and
• the subject-wise exam schedule

Both announcements aim to help candidates plan travel, prepare according to examination shifts, and avoid last-minute difficulties.

Candidates must download the admit card before the exam day, as entry will not be permitted otherwise.

🧾 UGC NET December 2025: Exam Pattern

The exam consists of two papers conducted together without a break.

• Paper I – Teaching & Research Aptitude

  • 50 questions

• Paper II – Subject-specific paper

  • 100 questions

Total marks allotted remain 300 for 150 questions in total.
