UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key Released LIVE: Download Provisional Key, Response Sheet & Raise Objections
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key on January 14, 2026. Along with the answer key, the agency has also uploaded the question papers and candidate response sheets on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2025 examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, covering 85 subjects across multiple exam centres nationwide.
Candidates can now log in to check their responses, compare them with the provisional answers, and submit representations (objections) within the notified schedule. All representations will be examined by subject experts, and the final answer key and results will be prepared accordingly.

How to Download UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key
Candidates can follow the steps below to download the provisional answer key and response sheet:
- Visit the official website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on “UGC NET Answer Key 2025”
- A login page will appear on the screen
- Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Code
- Click on Submit
- The UGC NET December 2025 answer key, question paper, and response sheet will appear
- Download and save the documents for future reference
Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check their responses before submitting any representation.
What Happens After the Objection Process?
After the challenge window closes:
- All objections will be examined by subject experts
- A final answer key will be released
- The UGC NET December 2025 result will be declared based on the final answer key
- Qualified candidates will be declared eligible for Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
No individual communication will be sent regarding acceptance or rejection of objections.
